If you have some background in CS and want to get into some technical stuff without diving headfirst into the quantum rabbithole this book is great → [https://ccpd.ciens.ucv.ve/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Noson-S.-Yanofsky-Mirco-A.-Mannucci-Quantum-Computing-for-Computer-Scientists.pdf](https://ccpd.ciens.ucv.ve/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Noson-S.-Yanofsky-Mirco-A.-Mannucci-Quantum-Computing-for-Computer-Scientists.pdf)

However if youre just getting started → [Quantum computers and the Bitcoin blockchain | Deloitte](https://www.deloitte.com/nl/en/services/risk-advisory/perspectives/quantum-computers-and-the-bitcoin-blockchain.html) this article is a good summary. Some good accounts to follow:

Biased on this one but I wrote this paper in 2021 → [Vulnerability of blockchain technologies to quantum attacks - ScienceDirect](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2590005621000138), provides a good overview of the issues facing several of the major blockchains at the time.

This video → [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05Uy-hFFkRU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05Uy-hFFkRU) gives a decent overview but there are many others that could be better out there!
